every day features a new veggie ‘wich from abraco. when i popped in for the earl’s challenge, the ‘wich featured onion jam, roasted carrots, and roasted rutabaga, accented by cheddar cheese from di palo, all served on foccacia bread. the roasting of the veggies is key, imparting major flavor without obscuring the earthy goodness of the veggies. my mom would be super proud of me. no more hide-and-throw-away-veggies, ma!
