i love my cuts of beef and pork, but i have a soft spot for lamb. the first meal i had after being released from the hospital in the philippines was a rack of lamb. (my dad could only shake his head in bemusement.) the first meal i ever cooked for hermione was a lamb stew. (let’s just say i’m glad i had more to offer her than my questionable cooking!) i was hyped up for this lamb dip entry–and i was still blown away. succulent lamb slices and ribbons of lamb fat stuffed inside a yielding bun, accompanied by an extremely rich lamb au jus for dipping = lamb nirvana. i know where to take hermione when she visits me next!
